Relationships of Maternal Nutrition and Weight Gain to Newborn Birthweight

The relationships of maternal prenatal nutrition and weight gain to newborn birthweights were studied in a well-characterized population of nulliparous women. Assured adequate nutrition was a better indication of larger infant size than total weight gain.
