DELAYED ONSET RIGHT-SIDED DIAPHRAGMATIC HERNIA SECONDARY TO GROUP B STREPTOCOCCAL INFECTION

In this report we describe an infant with group B streptococcal (GBS) pneumonia who subsequently developed a right sided diaphragmatic hernia with necrotic edges. We propose that the development of diaphragmatic infection and necrosis resulted in an acquired defect.
