Pseudosolid appearance of simple and echinococcal cysts on ultrasonography. A report of 2 cases

The 2 cases reported here indicate that on ultrasound examination uninfected simple and echinococcal cysts can sometimes show a pseudosolid internal consistency like that of a neoplasm, probably owing to floating crystals or particles.
