Oxygen consumption of dendro-dendritic synaptosomes was decreased by ouabain and increased by 2,4-dinitrophenol. High-potassium medium evoked a considerable release of GABA and dopamine but not of noradrenaline or serotonin in accordance with histochemical published data.
