Zusammenfassung:	The effect of long-term (18 months) selenium deficiency on the levels of liver coenzyme Q was studied in the rat. Levels of coenzyme Q 9 and coenzyme Q 10 in the liver of selenium-deficient rats were 40 and 67% of the levels in selenium-adequate animals, respectively. The results are similar to the findings using a shorter feeding period.
