Zusammenfassung: | Extract: This study uses the Nationwide Food Consumption Survey data to cluster individuals aged 65 to 74 years into groups that have similar food patterns of consumption. It then examines the nutritional adequacy of the food patterns and identifies the socioeconomic factors associated with each food pattern. The patterns identified can be categorized as light eaters, heavy eaters, or consumers of large amounts of alcoholic beverages, soups and salty snack products, animal fat products, legumes, or sweets and desserts.(author) |
