Zusammenfassung:Jones and Martin ( Neuropsychologia 23, 685–688, 1985) attempt to provide further empirical and theoretical support for the hypothesis that semantic paralexias arise in the right hemisphere. We argue that their re-analysis of the data of Landis et al. ( Neuropsychologia 21, 359–364, 1983) weakens the original claim, and that their theoretical stance lacks biological plausibility.
