Does routine surveillance of children's height and weight provide a sufficiently reliable means for monitoring the obesity epidemic?

Description of the TRENDS project within the school nursing service in Leeds to monitor height and weight as a way of addressing childhood obesity. The effectiveness of the TRENDS model compared to routine surveillance is discussed. [(BNI unique abstract)] 6 references
