We analysed the performance of passengers. This analysis suggested that the information should not be arranged per train or flight but per destination. Each train or flight has one line or one column. An empirical comparison supported this conclusion. When a destination-based structure was used, the number of correct answers was 16% higher, the delay of each passenger was 75% less, and the time needed to search for a train decreased by 42%.
