Anti-hepatitis C virus antibodies and hepatitis C virus viraemia in haemodialysis patients

Sera from 82 haemodialysis patients were tested for anti-HCV, HCV-RNA, and HBsAg. Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) activity was monitored weekly for 2 months.
