In this paper, we describe the communication architecture deployed on board our fleet of intelligent vehicles and based on 802.11 g+ devices. Using this architecture, we will prove the feasibility of cooperative services. Thus, we choose to study two situations of conflict on roads: crossroads approaching and lane changing manœuvre. For both scenarios, we analyze the contribution of our system for risk assessment and collision avoidance.
