Studies on the Removal of the Encephalitogenic Factor from Rabies Vaccine

By means of centrifugation at approximately 1000 G of a suspension of 5% brain tissue in distilled water, it was possible to remove a large part of the encephalitogenic factor from rabies vaccine and retain most of the mouse protective antigen in the supernatant fluid.
