Bartholinitis—An Unusual Etiologic Agent
Streptococcus pneumoniae type 4 was isolated in pure culture from a Bartholinʼs gland abscess in a 26-year-old woman, gravida 3. To the authorsʼ knowledge, this is the first report describing this agent as a cause of bartholinitis.
