Zusammenfassung:Summary The pressor response of various amines in anesthetized normotensive and hypertensive rats have been studied. The two groups of animals responded differently to different amines. Whereas phenethylamine and tyramine elicited the same degree of elevation of blood pressure in normotensive and hypertensive rats, arterenol and epinephrine caused greater responses and isoamylamine effected much smaller responses in the hypertensive animals.
