Zusammenfassung: | V-base alloys are considered as promising candidate structural materials for fusion reactors. One of the main concerns of fusion reactor applications is the active interaction of V-alloys with hydrogen isotopes. In this paper, the results of the investigation of hydrogen isotope interaction with V, V-4Ti-4Cr, and V-10Ti-5Cr alloys are presented. The studies carried out were: H, D, T solubility at temperatures of 673-1073 K and pressures of 1.3-13 kPa; H, D extraction from gaseous phase saturated alloys at temperatures of 673-1023 K; H penetration through alloy samples from the gaseous phase and during H-ion irradiation at temperatures of 423-673 K. It was shown that: H, D, T, solubilities for the V-10Ti-5Cr alloy are nearly twice as large as those for V and V-4Ti-4Cr alloys; no isotope effect on hydrogen solubility was found; enhancement of hydrogen retention in gaseous phase saturated samples during release and permeation experiments are attributed to surface processes. |
