Solvent relaxation NMR: bound fraction determination for sodium Poly(styrene sulphonate) at the solid/solution interface

The adsorption of sodium poly(styrene sulphonate) on cationic polystyrene latex has been studied using nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. The adsorbed amount and the fraction of adsorbed trains have been determined. The results are discussed with reference to recent experimental data.
