Virus-specific and cell-specific RNA transcripts in influenza virus-infected cells: the rate of synthesis and the content in the nuclei
The pool of nuclear poly(A)-containing RNA in influenza virus-infected cells as measured with steady-state super(3)H-uridine labelling is represented predominantly by cell-specific RNA: virus-specific sequences constitute less than 17 per cent at 3 and 5 hours post infection.
