Solution studies on chelates of nickel, zinc and cadmium with 2-thiopicolinanilide
The protonation constants of 2-thiopicolinanilide (TPA) and the stability constants of its complexes with Ni, Zn and Cd have been determined potentiometrically in 50% w/w ethanol-water medium, at 25° and 0.100 M ionic strength (LiClO 4). Co-ordination centres in TPA are suggested.
