YERSINIA ENTEROCOLITICA CAUSING PNEUMONIA AND EMPYEMA IN A CHILD AND A REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE

We describe a previously healthy child who developed Y. enterocolitica pneumonia with empyema accompanied by gastroenterocolitis. We also review the literature for all other cases of pulmonary infection caused by this bacterium. (DBO)
