Zusammenfassung: | This study was aimed at establishing the relation between baseline C-reactive protein levels and 12-month outcome in patients with unstable angina successfully treated with coronary artery stent implantation. Our results suggest that in patients with unstable angina and 1-vessel coronary disease successfully treated with coronary artery stent implantation, normal baseline serum levels of C-reactive protein identify a subgroup of patients at low risk of cardiac events during follow-up. |
