The bone defect was easily accessed and readily repaired in all five patients. No adverse reactions to the implant were observed. Satisfactory cosmetic results were obtained in all patients treated with the use of this method. This minimally invasive cranioplasty technique proved to be effective for the repair of the postoperative pterional defect.
