Zusammenfassung:	With the expansion of interventional cardiology into the pediatric population, vascular complications related to cardiac catheterization can be expected to occur. Cardiac surgeons must be prepared to treat these life-threatening injuries. We present a case and detail the technique of the surgical management of retroperitoneal arterial injury after interventional cardiac catheterization in a 6-month-old boy.
