(Grade A) Parents should be given information in line with the Department of Health guidance 3 about sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and co-sleeping, which states that "the safest place for your baby to sleep is in a cot in your room for the first six months.\n Indicators of successful feeding in babies: audible and visible swallowing sustained rhythmic suck relaxed arms and hands moist mouth regular soaked/heavy nappies. |
