Various imidazolium‐, pyrrolidinium‐ and morpholinium‐based zwitterionic silver complexes have been prepared and their performances as carriers for facilitated transport composite membranes investigated for selective separation of ethylene/ethane, propylene/propane, and C4 mixtures (see picture).
