Zusammenfassung:This prospective study, which included 320 patients, showed that total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, total cholesterol/high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and triglycerides correlate with thoracic aortic atherosclerosis. Low-density lipoprotein cholesterol is identified as an independent predictor of thoracic aortic plaque related to the severity of thoracic aortic atherosclerosis.
