Linkage mapping of genes encoding bone morphogenetic proteins 1, 4 and 5 in sheep

Probes: cDNA clones for bovine BMP1, BMP4 and BMP51 were used to develop RFLP markers for use with sheep genomic DNA, in order to map the ovine homologues of these genes on the sheep genetic linkage map.
