Zusammenfassung:Ependymoma is a slowly growing tumor appearing mostly in children and young adults. Several histological patterns are described. We report a case with unusual microscopic features, composed mostly of multiple cysts. Ultrastructural and immunohistochemical examination confirmed the diagnosis. Neuropathologists should be aware of this particular change which can generate some diagnostic difficulties.
