Zusammenfassung: | Radiotherapy has recently undergone some interesting developments, with the introduction of new technology and techniques in many departments. Arguably, with this comes an increase in the expectation of its capability. The treatment site that continues to represent most of the workload in our departments is breast. We should consider how relevant these contemporary changes are in the treatment of breast cancer. In this paper, we review some of the challenges in planning breast treatments and how they may be addressed with contemporary radiotherapy techniques. |
