Zusammenfassung:Double-phase scintigraphy using Tc-99m MIBI is the study of choice for detecting parathyroid adenomas in patients with primary hyperparathyroidism. Brown tumors are characteristic tumors of hyperparathyroidism, which have been reported to take up Tl-201 and Tc-99m MIBI when parathyroid scintigraphy was performed. We report a case in which a large parathyroid adenoma and a brown tumor localized in the mandible and were visualized simultaneously in double-phase Tc-99m MIBI parathyroid imaging.
