Zusammenfassung:	A common dental problem is restoring teeth with gingival or subgingival margins and extensive loss of coronal tooth structure. A technique is presented for doing so by making a wax foundation on the tooth and injecting vinyl polysiloxane impression material around the foundation to form a matrix for the tooth, using rubber dam clamps to stabilize the matrix.
