Zusammenfassung: | Politics is a shared destiny among human beings. However, the variety of its forms, in time & space, shows that societies decline this position differently. Politics is found at the interface of nature & culture & in them reconfigures its tensions: it is in this space that our passions take form. The primary political passions are compassion, anger, fear, terror, & courage, which make us accept norms or cause us to rebel; make us feel secure, outrages, or distressed. These passions are manifested in acts, through which the anthropologist can seek to analyze the social & political dimensions of the passions. The contributions to this special issue, "Political Passions," explore the role of passions in political events & manifestations. Adapted from the source document. |
