THE AUTHOR POINTS OUT THE MEASURE IS VIRTUALLY IDENTICAL WITH THE 'COEFFICIENT OF SPECIALIZATION' HE USED (1948-49, 1949) BUT RESULTS ARE NOT COMPARABLE. SOME FACTORS VARY.
