Child Protection and Participation in Refugee Emergencies

Advocates a significant change in thinking about children that considers them as endowed not only with rights but also with duties vis-a-vis the rights of children, a perspective that mandates a closer focus both on child participation & on fostering & enabling children's activism in refugee situations. Examples offered refer particularly to children & adolescents separated from their families, & are taken primarily from research conducted by Save the Children.
