Zusammenfassung:The Russian homonym pair ikra 'calf of leg' or ikra 'caviar' is compared to Athapaskan Eyak q'(schwa)ma 'salmon roe sac' & P-Athapaskan *q'(schwa)w(glottal stop) 'calf of leg'. It is suggested that speakers of various languages may have seen a similarity between a roe sac & the calf of the leg, & that such pairs are semantically related. 1 Table, 7 References. B.
