Thermal Properties of High Alumina Refractory Mortars Modified With Lanthanide Chemical Admixtures

Thermal data from mortars doped with 1% lanthanide oxides differ little from those of unmodified control mortar. Insulating properties of the modified mortars are retained when the lanthanide oxides increase the strength of heated refractories.
