Zusammenfassung: | Although regions near grain boundaries and triple points are important sources of nuclei during the recrystallization of cold-rolled interstitial-free steels, previous characterizations of orientational change in these regions have examined a relatively small number of grains. This work employs electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) to quantify, over a very large number of grains, differences in texture between regions near grain boundaries, near triple points and in the interiors of grains. Compared with the texture of the grain interiors, the textures of regions near grain boundaries and triple points are weaker and the maxima on the RD-fibre are closer to {0
