Zusammenfassung:The isothermal section of the phase diagram of the La–Fe–Ge ternary system at 773 K was investigated by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), differential thermal analysis (DTA) and optical microscopy. The existences of 12 binary compounds, La 3Ge, La 5Ge 3, La 4Ge 3, La 5Ge 4, LaGe, La 2Ge 3, LaGe 2− x , Fe 3Ge, Fe 5Ge 3, Fe 6Ge 5, FeGe, FeGe 2, were confirmed. Three ternary compounds LaFe 2Ge 2, LaFe 0.6Ge 2 and LaFeGe 3 were confirmed too. Ge in Fe, LaGe, LaGe 2− x and Fe 5Ge 3 and Fe in LaFe 0.6Ge 2 have solid solution phenomenon. This section consists of 18 single-phase regions, 37 two-phase regions, and 20 three-phase regions.
