Zusammenfassung:One important application of amorphous alloys is their use as filler materials. Amorphous filler materials can most easily be applied to the soldering gap. The development of new filler materials for magnesium alloys is demonstrated. A near‐eutectic Zn‐Mg‐Al alloy was investigated. The crystallization behaviour as well as the melting properties were studied using differential scanning calorimetry, scanning electron microscopy and X‐ray diffraction. This was aimed at studying the thermal and time stabilities of these amorphous fillers.
