Transcutaneous electrical acupuncture point stimulation and quality of recovery following cesarean delivery: A randomized controlled trial

•Transcutaneous electrical acupuncture point stimulation (TEAS) was studied.•Primary outcome was quality of recovery after cesarean delivery.•TEAS improved quality of recovery score compared to sham procedure.•TEAS may provide noninvasive analgesia with minimal side effects.
