Group II comprised of 36 patients, with male to female ratio of 3.5, mean (range, median) age of 40.9 ±11.6 (17-63, 40) years. The complete response was higher whereas the partial response was lower in Group I as compared to Group II (23/32 versus 16/36 and 06/32 versus 18/36, respectively). LANPC patients receiving gemcitabine plus cisplatin based neoadjuvant chemotherapy showed higher response, as compared with docetaxil, cisplatin and fluorouracil based neoadjuvant chemotherapy. |
