Zusammenfassung: | Libraries of liquid crystal mixtures are formulated via inkjet printing, by varying the specific number of drops of each component overprinted in each position to create a large array of discrete, known mixtures (see figure). Screening by using a high throughput technique for the determination of phase transitions identifies eutectic phases as well as melting and clearing transitions that are directly correlated with samples prepared in a conventional manner. |
