Zusammenfassung: | In continuation of our previous reports, this poster presents one way to analyse lignin residues in humic waters. For this purpose aqueous reversed-phase (RP) high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) has been tested. Possible differences between the fluorescence properties of the 4-bromomethyl-7-methoxy-coumarin (4-Br-MMC) derivatives of lignin and humic matter prompted us to carry out this study. This method might be applicable to characterization of humic waters and differentiation of humic and lignin compounds in recipient waters of pulp mills. |
