Previous research in the area of the thermal processes modeling shows, that it's very important to know the dependency of this parameter on temperature with required accuracy. This paper describes the method for measurement of the specific heat capacity of materials based on direct measurement of the temperatures of the material and surrounding zones in the furnace. The estimation of the specific heat capacity goes out from energy balance equation. For the calculation of the heat flow was used the elementary balance method (MEB).
