Zusammenfassung: | We present a 57Fe Mossbauer spectral study of the RFe11.5Ta0.5 compounds, with R = Tb, Dy, Ho, Er and Lu. The Mossbauer spectra have been analyzed with a model that considers both the distribution of the tantalum atom in the near-neighbor environment of the iron atoms and the influence of the easy magnetization direction. The assignment of the hyperfine fields and isomer shifts are in agreement with the iron magnetic moments measured by neutron diffraction and with the Wigner-Seitz cell analysis of the three iron sites in RFe12-xMx compounds, respectively. |
