Zusammenfassung: | Short bamboo fiber reinforced epoxy composites were developed with varying fiber content. The void content, density, and weight reduction of these composites were determined. The void content of these composites was found to be decreasing with increasing fiber content. The density of these composites was found to be decreasing with fiber content. The percentage weight reduction of these composites from the matrix was found to be increasing linearly. The bamboo fibers, and the epoxy resin system constituted lighter composites. |
