Zusammenfassung:Two questionnaire researches to collect people's experiences at the storm and flood in past years, so called "Hiyari-Hatto ( risk incidents )" were conducted in Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture, and Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan in January to February, 2003. Around 3,000 questionnaires were handed out to those who suffered from natural disaster past years. Finally 256 experiences ( incidents ) in Kamaishi City and 110 experiences in Ube City were analyzed. From the result, not large but not a few subjects have faced with hazardous situations on their way to their houses or shelters. They got injured or nearly injured because of the poor visibility on the road and fell into the gutter for not realizing the point. It means that not a few people have experienced same hazards, and they should share exact hazardous places to pay much attention in advance so that they could take proper actions. It was cleared that there was some characteristics according to the kind of disaster and geographical features. From this survey, it was suggested that some possibilities which the information of local-centered experiences might be useful for enhancing people's risk cognitions and their accident prevention. Some measurement would be needed to share some information of risk or latent risk in future.
