New ternary antimonides Ti sub 5 XSb sub 2 with W sub 5 Si sub 3 structure type

Three new ternary antimonides having W sub 5 Si sub 3 structure type were found. These are Ti sub 5 AlSb sub 2 , Ti sub 5 GaSb sub 2 and Ti sub 5 InSb sub 2 . The crystal structures of Ti sub 5 XSb sub 2 (X = Al, Ga, In) were investigated by X-ray powder diffraction.
