Radiation Survey of the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Kursk
The results of a radiation survey of the sunken nuclear-powered submarine Kursk, performed in 2000-2001 to ensure nuclear and radiation safety of the work performed on the boat, are presented. The results obtained show that the reactors were shut down and no radionuclides escaped into the sea water.
