Zusammenfassung: | Ozone is finding increasing application in a large number of industries as a bactericide and a bleaching agent. The process of ozone generating using "silent" or "barrier" discharges is described and analysed. Based upon conclusions from the analysis, a voltage control circuit is described which utilizes two IGBTs as switching devices with associated control circuitry. The circuit so developed has been used to control the output from a 50 g h\+sp\-1\-sp\ commercial ozone generator. (Original abstract - amended) |
