Zusammenfassung:Sintered bars of YBa2Cu3O7-x obtained by slip-casting were investigated for drying and sintering behaviour. High intra-grain critical current density values (about 10 exp(6) A/cm2 at 77 K) were obtained, although transport critical current density values were low (about 100 A/cm2 at 77 K). Microstructural characterisation was undertaken on selected samples which demonstrated significant differences in physical density and critical current density. 33 refs.
